This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through
shop.decibelpeak.com (“the Store”), operated by Decibel Peak (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By placing an order, you agree to this policy in full.
1. GENERAL POLICY
All purchases are considered final once processed, subject only to the limited exceptions outlined below.
We encourage you to carefully review product descriptions, specifications, system requirements, and order details before completing your purchase.
2. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS (e.g., Acoustic Foam, Accessories)
2.1 No Returns After Shipping
All sales of physical products are final once the order has shipped.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for physical items based on:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selection by the customer
- Color, size, or compatibility issues
- Installation errors
2.2 Cancellations Before Shipping
You may request a cancellation only if the order has not yet shipped.
Once shipment occurs, the order becomes non-refundable.
2.3 Damaged or Defective Items
If your physical product arrives damaged or defective, you must:

- Within: 5 calendar days of delivery
- Provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the product
- Clear photos of the packaging
If approved, we will arrange either:
- A replacement, or
- A refund at our sole discretion
Failure to report damage within the 5-day window voids eligibility.
3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS (Software, Apps, Licenses, Downloads)
Due to the instant-access nature of digital products:
3.1 Activation-Based Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase only if:
- The product has not been activated
- The product has not been downloaded
- The product has not been accessed or used
- The product listing states otherwise
Once a license key is activated or software is accessed, the sale becomes final and non-refundable without exception.

4. REFUNDS & PROCESSING TIMES
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- Processing time: Up to 10 business days
- Bank or card issuer delays may extend processing time beyond our control
5. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in:
- Immediate termination of licenses and access
- Suspension from future purchases
- Blacklisting for fraud prevention
We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks using:
- IP logs
- Download records
- License activation logs
- Support history
6. PRICING ERRORS & FRAUD PREVENTION
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel or refund orders resulting from pricing errors
- Cancel orders flagged for suspected fraud
- Refuse service to repeat offenders
